Farm 2 Fork Stakeholders

There are several people and organisations that have an interest or stake in an agricultural business – these are referred to as Stakeholders.

Stakeholder: An individual/group who have an interest in the business and may be affected by it’s activities. These can be:

Internal stakeholder:

  • An individual/group who are involved in the business directly by being or representing members of the workforce.
  • Owners (sole trader, partners)
  • Employees
  • Trade unions

External stakeholder:

  • An individual/group with links to the business but no direct representation. Shareholders, suppliers, investors, lenders, local community, pressure groups, government, financial businesses
